Though not all stand tall in history’s playbill.

Grew and developed through war and resentment.

Teddy’s Square Deal left a lasting impression,
While Franklin’s New Deal helped us through the depression.

Blaming each other for division and strife.

Yet here we are, wanting for statesmanlike action.

From hundreds of millions, it’s inconceivable
We can’t find someone inspiring and feasible.

As “out of touch” leaders go endlessly viral,
Who can reverse our chaotic spiral?

The job of president is most demanding.
Our nation needs someone more upstanding!

When the task is upon us of who to elect,
Consider one who engenders peace and respect.

Thus, before your next ballot is cast,
Choose wisely; read more than your local forecast!
